Let us start this article with a simple question: Do you still wear a wristwatch, or do you check the time on your phone like most people nowadays?

If you are still among those who use a normal wristwatch, sooner or later you may need a new battery, a replacement strap, or a small repair.

That is exactly what happened to us recently.

We searched online for a watch repair shop in Edirne, but surprisingly there was not much useful information available. Later, our acquaintance Mehmet ÇOĞ recommended a small local business near Ali Paşa Bazaar and Saraçlar Street: DO-RE-Mİ Saat Galerisi.

So we went there.

We had a new watch strap fitted and the dead battery replaced, as well. Thankfully, the watch is now “working like clockwork” again.

The shop offers watch-related services and accessories, including batteries, straps, and various watch items. Even wall clocks can reportedly be repaired there.

Many local residents probably already know this small shop, but we still wanted to share the information. It may help visitors, foreign residents, students, or anyone unexpectedly looking for a watch repair service in Edirne.

In a time when most people simply replace old items instead of repairing them, it is nice to see that traditional watch repair still survives in Edirne.
