The Thrace Career Fair, hosted by Trakya University with the support of the Presidential Human Resources Office, and in collaboration with Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Namık Kemal University in Tekirdağ, Kırklareli University, and Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University in the Thrace Region, began on December 27, 2023, at Trakya University Balkan Campus.
The fair, with the participation of numerous companies, will continue on November 27-28, attracting student interest in various company booths. During the fair, students were provided with information about companies’ internship and recruitment processes
The program started with a moment of silence and the recitation of the national anthem, followed by a symphony orchestra concert and the screening of an introductory film.
“We are undertaking significant initiatives to facilitate students’ transition into their professions after education.”
Officials speaking at the program emphasized that Turkey is a country with strong capabilities and highlighted its ability to establish sustainable systems by providing rational solutions to problems. They noted that the Human Resources Office not only addresses numerous issues in both the public and private sectors but also actively works on supporting students in their post-education career endeavors. The speakers expressed their commitment to ensuring that every university, without exception, has the necessary support to establish a career center, stating that all 207 universities in Turkey now boast a career center.
