“Especially, we will have eliminated the disorder on the coastline by this year. We have formed a committee regarding Saros Gulf and conducted regulatory work. Areas were visited, responsible parties were identified. Step-by-step planning has been made for all areas regarding what kind of businesses will operate and what services will be provided to the citizens. We are going for regulation to avoid disorder and environmental pollution.”

Sezer, who mentioned that deficiencies in the ports will be completed shortly, also noted following:

“Due to the breakwater and port works carried out on time at Yayla Port, while the sandy beach area on the left side of the region increased, buildings are at risk due to waves hitting the settlement area on the right side. A project work has been done there. Construction of 7 breakwaters will start in the region. We will have studies on the active use of the ports. Especially İbrice Port is important for diving tourism. We will initiate works for the construction of new facilities here. Studies are also being carried out regarding Enez Port.”
