The “Historical Gazi Mihal Bey Bath,” one of Edirne’s precious works built in 1422 but unused for a long time, is undergoing restoration to be added to Edirne’s cultural heritage.
Edirne’s historical monuments, unfortunately neglected until now, are gradually being restored to contribute to Edirne’s tourism. As part of this effort, the 600-year-old Gazi Mihal Bey Bath, located on the road to the Kapikule Border Gate in Edirne, will be restored.
Emphasizing that the bath would be restored in accordance with its original form, Edirne Governor Sezer stated, “The treasures of our city are being brought to light one by one. The Gazi Mihal Bey Bath, one of the precious works of our city built in 1422 but unused for a long time, is undergoing restoration to be added to our citys cultural treaures.”
