Efforts to prevent the closure of the international Kapıkule highway due to snow have been initiated, including snow plowing and salting. As a result, traffic flow has been maintained in an orderly manner.
Due to the snowfall within the city, motorcycles, electric scooters, and courier motorcycles were temporarily prohibited. According to the announcement by the governorship, of these vehicles are not allowed in traffic. Traffic teams applied administrative fines to motorcycle riders who disobeyed the ban and advised them to return to their homes and workplaces.
