Located in Kaleiçi, in the heart of Edirne, Sera Sebze Meyve Halk Pazarı offers local residents and visitors from Bulgaria, Greece, Romania and other neighbouring countries a wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, including items they might have difficulty finding elsewhere.

A short while ago, I was walking around Kaleiçi looking for spinach. I asked the vendors at the vegetable stalls if they had any, but they didn’t. Instead, they recommended a greengrocer’s shop around the corner, saying it was likely to have some. Sure enough, I found the spinach I was looking for. The shop also had a wide variety of other fruit and vegetables, as you can see in the photos below.
The shop is conveniently located for residents already in the city centre running errands, as well as visitors who come to Edirne for shopping or other purposes.
