Edirne’s historical landmarks are being renovated and restored over time to contribute to the development of city tourism. The governorship is actively engaged in serious efforts in this regard.
Governor Yunus Sezer shared a brief statement with the press on this matter:
“We continue to bring our historical monuments one by one to Edirne. In this context, after the restoration and landscaping of the Historical Towel Weavers’ Inn (Havlucular Hanı) and Mezit Bey Bath, we will contribute this historical asset to Edirne tourism.”
It is hoped that many more such artifacts will be addressed as soon as possible, and the historical assets of the city will be revealed. This will enable Edirne to be better recognized and contribute to the tourism movement in the city, even more.
