If you’re visiting Edirne by car, you’ll be pleased to know that parking is generally straightforward. The city’s historic centre is relatively compact, allowing visitors to park once and explore many of the main attractions, restaurants and shopping streets on foot.

To improve traffic flow and make parking more convenient, Edirne Municipality operates the EDPARK parking system, which manages both on-street parking spaces and public open-air car parks in key locations across the city centre.

How Parking Works in Edirne

Most municipal parking in central Edirne is managed through EDPARK. Parking areas are clearly marked and are located within easy walking distance of many of the city’s most popular attractions.

Rather than moving your car throughout the day, it is usually more convenient to choose a central parking area and explore the city on foot. Selimiye Mosque, Eski Camii, Ali Paşa Bazaar, the Bedesten, cafés, restaurants and many shopping streets are all within comfortable walking distance of each other.
