During the operations organized in the last 1 month in Edirne, 1209 illegal immigrants and 35 organizer suspects were arrested.
27 Suspicious vehicles were stopped during the air-supported operations organized by the intelligence, anti-terrorism, smuggling, JASAT, asayish and commando teams affiliated to the Provincial Gendarmerie Command.
1209 illegal immigrants and 35 organizers were caught in these vehicles.
While the illegal immigrants were being sent to the Edirne Directorate of Migration Management, 27 vehicles were towed to the parking lot of yediemin.
The 35 organizer suspects, whose transactions were completed at the gendarmerie, were referred to the judicial authorities.
